IEEE AIUB organises tour for students from “Teach for Bangladesh”

In an attempt to encourage children to join the STEM fields, IEEE AIUB student branch organized a tour of the AIUB faculty of engineering building. The main idea was to inspire children suffering from poverty to stay in school and join the STEM fields one day. Along with their students, four fellows from "TEACH FOR BANGLADESH" were given a tour of the building to show various instruments and equipment related to EEE. Amongst the places which the group visited were Electrical Machine lab, Control Systems lab and Telecommunications labs, and others. Faculties & mentors of AIUB & IEEE AIUB student branch gave an encouraging presentation to cement an idea about engineers and engineering.
