4th smartphone & tab expo comes to an end

4th Smartphone & Tablet Expo, the largest exposition of its kind, came to an end yesterday. According to the organizers, the expo, which started from 13th August Thursday at the Bangabandhu International Conference Center, is the biggest one so far; hosting more than 50k visitors. State Minister for ICT Division Zunaid Ahmed Palak officially inaugurated the expo. Renowned technologist Mustafa Jabbar and Musa Ibrahim- the first Bangladeshi to successfully take on Mount Everest appeared as special guests at the inauguration ceremony. Ikram Kabir, Head of Communications and Corporate Responsibilities at Robi, Kazi Ashfaqul Mani, Managing Director of Elite, Russell Ahmed, Head of Marketing at Goldberg, Abdus Sadat, Head of Sales at Huawei spoke at the program among others.

Brands such as Samsung, Apple, Symphony, Stylus, Goldberg, ZTE, Oppo, Huawei, Maximus, Elite, Asus, Lenovo, Xiaomi, Gionee, OnePlus and many more have participated in this expo. Most of the participants had promotion prices on smartphones and tabs. Robi, the telecom operator, introduced mobile phones sets at affordable prices for the customers. In addition to that, there was also a special pavilion commemorating the national mourning day on 15th August. The main sponsor of this event was Robi Axiata Ltd. Elite Mobile, Goldberg, Huawei, Samsung, Stylus, Symphony, and ZTE were the co-sponsors. Edumaker, Elite Force, People's Radio 91.6 FM and Techshohor were the associates of the event.
