10 million likes on Grameenphone Facebook Fan Page

Grameenphone recently announced that it now has a fan following of over 10 million people on Facebook. Starting in 2007, the GP's presence on Facebook has grown substantially over the years. From 2007 to 2015, 1 out of 33 GP user was a Facebook follower; by 2017, that number improved to 1 out of 16. In 2015, GP's average Organic Reach on Facebook was 6%, which grew to 10% in 2016 – a 67% growth. Moreover, GP's Organic Engagement in 2016 was 110% higher than 2015, an unprecedented organic engagement growth for the telecom industry in Bangladesh. In 2016 alone, GP's official Facebook Page added 3,485,651 new followers, the highest for the industry for the year.
