Premier Bank mobilises Tk 3,003cr in deposits in 60 working days

Premier Bank PLC mobilised a record Tk 3,003 crore in new deposits within just 60 working days between April 1 and June 30, 2026, under its “Special Deposit & Recovery Campaign 2026”.

The bank also recovered approximately Tk 769 crore in cash against non-performing loans (NPLs) during the January-June period of 2026, according to a press release.

Commenting on the achievement, Arifur Rahman, chairman of the bank, said the success of the “Special Deposit & Recovery Campaign 2026” reflected the active participation of employees at all levels and the continued trust and confidence of the bank’s customers.

He also reaffirmed the bank’s commitment to delivering the highest level of customer service through sustainable growth and responsible banking practices.

Md Monzur Mofiz, managing director, emphasised the importance of further accelerating deposit mobilisation efforts and called upon all concerned to make the upcoming deposit campaigns even more successful.

According to the bank, officers and employees at all levels are working together to sustain the growth momentum by leveraging customer trust, innovative banking services, and the relentless efforts of its workforce.
