MetLife recognises Sumon Agency as Best Insurance Agency for 2025

MetLife Bangladesh has named Sumon Agency of Noakhali as the Best Insurance Agency for 2025 for its outstanding performance in promoting life insurance, adopting digital solutions and delivering strong customer service.

Ala Ahmad, chief executive officer of MetLife Bangladesh, handed over the award to Sofi Ullah Sumon, branch manager of the agency, at a ceremony held recently in Noakhali, according to a press release.

Sumon joined MetLife in 2008 and has been leading the agency as branch manager since 2018.

He said the achievement was the result of the collective efforts of the agency's unit managers and financial associates.

Commenting on the recognition, Ahmad said insurance plays a vital role in economic growth and stability, and recognising excellence helps inspire innovation across the sector.

MetLife Bangladesh serves millions of customers nationwide through a network of more than 15,000 agents.
