Iftekhar Enam Awal made DMD of AB Bank

AB Bank PLC has promoted Iftekhar Enam Awal to the post of deputy managing director (DMD).

Prior to this promotion, Awal was serving the bank concurrently as senior executive vice-president and chief business officer.

According to a press release, he started his career with AB Bank PLC as a probationary officer in 1994.

He led a number of corporate branches and divisions of the bank at different phases of his career. His major professional areas comprise corporate business, credit, foreign exchange, branch operations, and roles as branch relationship manager and divisional head at the head office level.

Awal obtained his postgraduate degree in finance from the University of Dhaka.
