Envoy Textiles declares 30% dividend
Envoy Textiles Limited, the world's first LEED Platinum-certified denim manufacturer, has declared a 30 percent dividend for the year that ended on June 30, 2025.
The declaration was made at the company's 30th annual general meeting (AGM) on Saturday at the Gulshan Shooting Club in Dhaka recently, according to a press release.
Kutubuddin Ahmed, founder and chairman of Envoy Textiles Limited, presided over the meeting as the chief guest.
Updating shareholders on the company's performance, Ahmed said Envoy Textiles more than doubled its profit in the financial year (FY) 2024-25, with net profit rising to approximately Tk 141 crore, the highest since the company's inception.
Earnings per share increased to Tk 8.40 from Tk 3.58, while net asset value per share rose to Tk 58.32 from Tk 51.93.
Revenue reached Tk 1,862.48 crore, up 30.6 percent from the previous year, supported by a 39.4 percent rise in denim fabric sales.
"Our revenue growth, effective cost management, and improved profitability demonstrate the strength of our business model," Ahmed said.
"We are confident that the initiatives we have undertaken will continue to reinforce Envoy Textiles Limited's position and deliver increased returns for our valued shareholders in the years ahead," he added.
M Saiful Islam Chowdhury, company secretary, conducted the meeting.
The AGM also elected new directors, confirmed the appointment of a female independent director, approved auditors, and endorsed the company secretary's appointment for FY 2025-26.
Tanvir Ahmed, managing director of the company, was also present, along with shareholders, board members, senior management, and statutory auditors.
