Delta Life Insurance Company Ltd has announced a 35 percent cash dividend for the year 2025.

The announcement was made at the life insurer’s 40th annual general meeting (AGM), which was held virtually recently.

Hafiz Ahmed Mazumder, chairman of the life insurer, presided over the AGM, according to a press release.

Addressing the meeting, he said, “We are extremely proud that Delta Life has been conducting business with honesty and earning people’s trust while consistently providing good dividends over the past few years. In an insurance company, claim settlement is the key issue, and the company’s management strives for 100 percent performance. In this regard, Delta Life Insurance has earned recognition in society, helping the company become well established today.

“Delta Life is a prime example of how a company can be built through honest business practices.

“We would like to thank every member of our company who, in their respective roles, worked with integrity to make this achievement possible. Achieving 10 percent growth during the current year despite the challenging economic situation in Bangladesh is truly commendable,” he added.

A large number of shareholders joined the meeting from across the country and approved the company’s audited financial statements for 2025.

Fida M Kamal, an independent director, and Azimuddin Biswas, additional secretary at the Ministry of Finance, along with members of the board of directors, external auditors, representatives of the Bangladesh Securities and Exchange Commission, the Dhaka Stock Exchange and the Chittagong Stock Exchange, and the independent scrutiniser, attended the meeting.
