Bengal Commercial Bank offers EMI on SSL products

Bengal Commercial Bank PLC recently signed an agreement with Software Shop Limited, better known as SSL Commerz, a Bangladesh-based fintech company, to provide equated monthly instalment (EMI) facilities to its customers.

Tarik Morshed, managing director of the bank, and Md Iftekhar Alam Ishaque, chief executive officer of the fintech company, signed the agreement at a programme held at the bank’s head office in Gulshan, Dhaka, according to a press release.

Under the agreement, Bengal Commercial Bank PLC credit cardholders can avail themselves of EMI facilities on purchases of products from more than 15,000 merchants within the SSL Commerz network.

Among others, KM Awlad Hossain, additional managing director and chief business officer, and Nasim Sekander, additional managing director, were also present.
