TECNO names Hamza Choudhury as brand ambassador in Bangladesh
Global technology brand TECNO has named Hamza Choudhury, a prominent member of the Bangladesh national football team, as its brand ambassador in Bangladesh.
Hamza has emerged as one of the most recognisable figures in Bangladeshi football, inspiring a new generation of fans through his professional career and commitment to representing the country.
According to a press release, his determination, performance-driven mindset and strong connection with young audiences make him a natural fit for TECNO.
The partnership comes at an important time for football in Bangladesh, with TECNO serving as the title sponsor of the TECNO SAFF Championship Bangladesh 2026.
The sponsorship underscores the brand’s commitment to strengthening its engagement with football fans and young people across the region.
Rezwanul Hoque, chief executive officer of Ismartu Technology BD Ltd, said Hamza embodied ambition, determination and the courage to keep pushing forward — values that align closely with TECNO’s “Stop At Nothing” philosophy.
“With Hamza joining the TECNO family and the TECNO SAFF Championship Bangladesh 2026 ahead, we want to bring technology and football together and create exciting new experiences for fans across Bangladesh,” he said.
Under the partnership, Hamza will feature in TECNO’s upcoming brand and product campaigns, including those for its CAMON series, as well as football-focused digital content, consumer engagement initiatives and fan experiences.
The collaboration will also explore how AI-powered smartphones, advanced imaging and mobile technology can create new ways for fans to engage with football.
Hamza said he was delighted to join TECNO Bangladesh as its brand ambassador and looked forward to creating exciting experiences for fans.
Over the coming months, TECNO and Hamza will roll out a series of campaigns and football-inspired experiences in Bangladesh.
