Praava Health celebrates 9th anniversary

Praava Health, an integrated outpatient healthcare network in Bangladesh, celebrated its 9th anniversary, marking nine years of providing accessible, patient-centric and quality healthcare through trust, innovation, clinical excellence and compassion.

Since its founding, the organisation has sought to reshape outpatient healthcare by bringing family medicine, specialist consultations, advanced diagnostics, imaging, preventive health screening, beauty and wellness, home health services and digital healthcare solutions under one integrated ecosystem.

A major milestone came recently when Praava served its one-millionth patient, reflecting the trust patients and families across Bangladesh place in the organisation.

The organisation organised a celebration programme at its Dhaka office on Monday, according to a press release.

Sylvana Quader Sinha, founder and chair of Praava Health, inaugurated the programme as the chief guest.

Reflecting on future growth, Sylvana said, “Last month, we reached our first one million patients. This year, we are launching our first spoke, and by 2027 we plan to launch more spokes, initially across Dhaka city and eventually across the country.”

Simeen M Akhtar, chief operating officer, said Praava was the first institution in Bangladesh to establish and promote a dedicated department of physicians focused on family medicine.

The company also recognised employees who have completed five years or more of service.

Mohammad Abdul Matin Emon, chief executive officer, and other senior officials were also present.
