Independent University holds MBA, EMBA orientation for Autumn 2026

The School of Business and Entrepreneurship at Independent University, Bangladesh (IUB), organised an orientation programme on Sunday for newly admitted students of its MBA and EMBA programmes for the Autumn 2026 term.

Fahim Mashroor, founder and chief executive officer of Bdjobs.com, attended the event as the chief guest, according to a press release.

Prof M Tamim, vice-chancellor of the university; Prof Daniel W Lund, pro-vice-chancellor; and Md Wasim Jabber, treasurer, also attended the programme.

Hanif Mahtab, director of the MBA/EMBA Programme, delivered the welcome address and conveyed greetings from Dean Imran Rahman, who was on leave.

The orientation programme introduced the newly admitted students to the university’s academic environment, programme structure and learning opportunities.
