Crowne Plaza celebrates US Independence Day with culinary festival
Crowne Plaza Dhaka Airport, an upscale property of IHG Hotels & Resorts, is hosting the Grand American Food Festival at its all-day dining restaurant, Mosaic, to celebrate US Independence Day.
The festival, which began on July 3, will continue until July 9, according to a press release.
Brent T Christensen, the US ambassador to Bangladesh, inaugurated the weeklong festival as the chief guest.
Held to mark the 250th anniversary of US Independence, the weeklong event offers an authentic American dining experience featuring iconic classics, comfort food and chef-crafted specialities in a festive setting.
Curated by the hotel’s culinary team, the menu showcases signature American dishes, including oxtail soup, beef Wellington, traditional meatloaf, slow-braised beef osso buco, classic chicken pot pie, spicy Cajun chicken and grilled chicken sausage with barbecue sauce.
Guests can also enjoy interactive live stations featuring hot dogs with assorted toppings, corn dogs and loaded chips, alongside a selection of international dishes and indulgent desserts.
Coca-Cola is the festival’s official beverage partner.
Ashwani Nayar, general manager of Crowne Plaza Dhaka Airport, said the festival was designed to bring the authentic taste and spirit of America to guests through a carefully curated selection of the country’s most iconic dishes.
“We look forward to welcoming our guests for a memorable week of exceptional food, warm hospitality and festive celebrations,” he said.
Guests can also avail themselves of a “Dine 5, Pay for 1” offer on the festival buffet with selected bank cards.
