AKM Shoaib selected to serve DUAAF as president for 2025-2027

The election commission of the Dhaka University Alumni Apparel Foundation (DUAAF) has announced the full executive committee for the 2025-2027 term.

According to the official declaration made last night, AKM Shoaib has been selected as president, and Arafatul Islam (Arafat) as general secretary.

The election commission expressed confidence that the new leadership will make DUAAF more structured, coordinated, and dynamic in the coming years.

Matiur Rahman, the chief election commissioner, stated that this is DUAAF's first full-fledged executive committee, which will play a critical role in guiding the organisation toward a well-organised framework over the next two years.

The organisation aims to bring together experience, leadership, and collaboration within Bangladesh's apparel sector while contributing to the development of future industry leaders.

DUAAF currently serves as a collaborative network of Dhaka University alumni working in the apparel and textile industries.
