Rejoinder

The Dhaka University authorities have sent a rejoinder to a report headlined “Gha Unit Exam: DU finds proof of question leak” published in The Daily Star on October 24.

The rejoinder from the DU Public Relations Office said the report quoted Vice-Chancellor Prof Akhtaruzzaman as saying, “As the probe body formed over the incident found proof that the question paper was leaked, we have decided to hold the admission test again for those who cleared the exam.”

Actually, the VC did not deliver any such speech, the rejoinder said, adding that the university authorities reject that portion of the report.
