The government of Bangladesh has been up front about supporting the film industry, providing funds since 1976-77 fiscal year. Amidst the pandemic last year, the highest number of films were provided a handsome amount of fund, to encourage the film industry. This year, 19 films have received the grant, to the elation of directors, actors and the crew linked to the projects.

The actor is playing one of the important roles in Anjan Aich directorial "Agamikal" which releases today, in 30 cinema halls across the country.
