A 65-year-old man was shot dead and another was shot in the legs during a raid by Rab in a village of Sonargaon upazila of Narayanganj early yesterday, locals said.

One year into the brutal murder of Tanwir Muhammad Taqi, Rab said it had cracked the murder mystery, identified the killers and even prepared a draft probe report.

Ishaq Islam, president of a union unit of pro-BNP Jatiyatabadi Chhatra Dal, and 300 others blocked Narayanganj Ring Road on November 20, blasted crude bombs, and vandalised vehicles, according to a case filed against them.
