Renowned Indian actor Deepika Padukone has signed her second Hollywood film, a cross-cultural rom-com that she will also produce under her banner Ka Productions.

The Ministry of Information has requested filmmakers to submit their projects from last year for the National Film Awards 2020.  The National Film Awards is biggest cinematic award in Bangladesh and the makers are asked to submit their projects every year prior to the prize giving ceremony.

The revolution that litterateur and musical polymath Kazi Nazrul Islam brought to Bengali literature is unparalleled.  It is known that he joined the British-Indian Army in 1917 during World War I, when he was just 18. Barely out of his teen years, Nazrul travelled across India to join his regiment at Karachi.

Today is the 45th death anniversary of the younger of the two icons.

Meghdol band members Shibu Kumer Shill and Amzad Hossain are set to release his new song “Ke Deke Jay” under the banner of Amzad Hossain’s production house Taalkachari. Voiced by Shibu Kumer Shill, the number is jointly written by Mahi Flora and the singer himself. Amzad Hossain is the composer and music arranger of the track.
