Sixth day of ‘Mujib Chirantan’ celebrates Bangabandhu’s love for our nation
Celebrating the birth centenary of the Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman and the golden jubilee of Bangladesh's independence, a ten-day programme, "Mujib Chirantan", began on March 17 at the capital's National Parade Square. The sixth day of the celebrations began with the theme, “Banglar Maati, Amar Maati”, marking Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman’s love for his country and his people.

Celebrating the birth centenary of the Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman and the golden jubilee of Bangladesh's independence, a ten-day programme, "Mujib Chirantan", began on March 17 at the capital's National Parade Square. The fifth day of celebrations began with the theme, “Dhongshostupe Jiboner Gaan”, commemorating Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman’s determination to rebuild a war-torn country after independence. Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina attended the cultural event.

Kamruzzaman Shadhin’s ‘Elephant in the Room’ featured at Dubai Design District
On March 12, “Elephant in the Room”, an award-winning art installation by renowned Bangladeshi visual artist Kamruzzaman Shadhin, was launched at the Dubai Design District (D3), organised by Durjoy Bangladesh Foundation, which works to promote South Asian art internationally in association with Art Dubai. D3 is a hub of inspiration for creatives, artists, and designers. It will exhibit this participatory artwork in its walkaways for a month-long display till April 12, 2021.

The fourth day of "Mujib Chirantan", the ten-day celebration of the birth centenary of the Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman and the golden jubilee of Bangladesh's independence, was held at National Parade Square yesterday. The theme of the day was, “Tarunner Alok Shikha”. As the theme suggests, the fourth day of the programme celebrated the youth, featuring prominent young individuals from different sectors – from the arts to science and technology.

Sri Lanka’s tribute to Bangladesh on third day of ‘Mujib Chirantan’
Day three of “Mujib Chirantan”, the ten-day celebration of the birth centenary of the Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman and the golden jubilee of Bangladesh's independence at National Parade Square, was themed as “Jatakal Robe Padma Jamuna”. The first session began with Hon'ble Prime Minister of the Democratic Socialist Republic of Sri Lanka Mahinda Rajapaksa addressing the gathering as the guest of honour, at the function presided over by Bangladesh’s Prime Minister, Sheikh Hasina. Russian Foreign Minister Sergey V Lavrov presented a video congratulatory message on the day.
