Asaduzzaman Noor tests positive for Covid-19

Eminent actor and Member of Parliament Asaduzzaman Noor has tested positive for Covid-19. His family confirmed the news to The Daily Star.

The actor is under observation at Bangladesh Specialised Hospital.

He is also said to be doing well, physically.

A member of the parliament from Nilphamari-2, Asaduzzaman Noor won the Independence Award, Bangladesh's highest civilian honour, in 2018. He is best known for portraying the character of Baker bhai in Humayun Ahmed's "Kothao Keu Nei" series.
