Popular bands line up for Concert for Taslima

To save the life of Taslima Islam Lovely, a number of popular bands of the country have united to hold a charity concert in Chittagong. 
The concert, titled “Concert for Taslima”, will take place at BAWA School field at Dampara in the port city on April 2 at 2pm. 

Leading band Shironamhin, along with crowd-pleaser bands Minerva, Ashes, Shohojia, Bindu, Ionic Bond and Metrical will perform at the event to raise money for the treatment of Taslima.

Taslima has been suffering from Blood Cancer for the last six months, and she is critical stage now. To save her life, Taslima needs to be taken to India for radio therapy. 

Jagorito Tarun, an online social platform of youths, is organising the concert with an aim that small contributions of music lovers can save a life, and bring back smile in the face of Taslima's two-year-old daughter.
