Eid Albums Galore

As previous years, the audio industry is releasing a number of albums marking Eid-ul-Fitr. Most of the albums have already hit the audio market. One of the major labels, G-Series, along with its sister concern Agniveena, has released over 100 albums for this Eid. The albums largely feature new and popular artistes.

Fahmida Nabi and Shaik Uddin Shan's pop-modern album “Shada Kalo” is one of the hit albums. Shan has composed and directed music for the album. Priyanka Gope's semi -classical album “Chand Janla” and two solo pop-modern albums “Mitu Karmaker” by Mitu Karmaker and “Latim” by Tanveer Alam Shawjeeb are also being rapidly picked up.

“Hit Album 5” features pop-modern songs recorded by Tahsan, Topu, F.A.Sumon, Imran, Jhilik, Rahi and Mahadi. Bibek featuring various artistes' pop-modern album titled, “Valentino” is one of the albums set for release.

The label has brought solo Tagore songs' albums -- “Shonkhodhoni” by Nirjher Chowdhury, “Shurer Badhoney” by Tanjina Toma, “Neerer Pakhi” by Monzu Rashid and “O Bhai Kanai” by Chanchal Khan -- to the market.

Among the folk and folk fusion albums Sandipan's “Chittagonger Gaan 1”, “Nitto Gyan-e” by Sagar Baul and “Saju Mela” by Saju are noteworthy, while Shwapnil Shojib and Tulika have recorded a Rabindra and folk album “Epar Opar” for the label.

G-Series' punk rock album “Ai Oddhay” by Metaphor; a rock album “Blue Print”, by mixed bands, a metal album “Shomoyer Karagar” by Vengeance, a mellow rock album “Artonad 2”, featuring mixed artistes, a mixed album “Anuruper Gaan” and a black metal album “The Messenger Of Last Avatar” by Satanik are also available.

On the other hand, another label CMV has brought out some new albums. Composed by Joy Shahriar, a mixed album “Bolchhi Shono” by Bappa Mazumder, Tahsan and Joy Shahriar, is now available while Arfin Rumey, Porshi and Sheniz also feature in another mixed adhunik album “Tomari Naam-e”.   

Kishore featuring mixed album “Tolpaar” has been recorded by popular singers –Kumar Bishwajit, Bappa Mazumder, SI Tutul, Tahsan, Nancy and Belal Khan. Popular singers -- Elita and Kishore – feature in a duet album “Tumi ar Ami” while Rinku and Kazi Shubho have recorded songs for a folk fusion album “Paap Punno”. Parvez's solo album “Pagol”, features pop modern song by the label.

Young singer RJ Nayon features in an adhunik album “Anta: Pristha” by Atik under the label of Suranjoli.
