28 held for prostitution, antisocial activities from Gulshan spa and parlour

Law enforcers have arrested 12 men and 16 women for "antisocial activities" at a spa and a parlour in Gulshan area of Dhaka.

Based on a tip-off, Inspector Md Aminul Islam of Gulshan Police Station conducted a drive at Apple Thai Spa and Chhoya Beauty Parlour around 8pm on September 19, according to a press release issued yesterday in this regard.

The arrestees were caught red-handed, engaging in prostitution and other antisocial activities, said Abul Hasan, officer-in-charge of Gulshan Police Station.

A case has been filed with the police station in this regard.

"We will continue raids against such antisocial activities," the OC added.
