2015 Chevrolet Corvette ZO6

The all new ZO6 is the faster, hotter version of the Stingray released last year, and even just on paper, it looks to surpass the top spec ZR1 from the last generation.

Under the hood is the LT4 engine, a 6.2-liter supercharged and intercooled V8 producing around 625 horsepower and 635 pound-feet of torque.Lots of aerodynamic tricks and massive Brembo ceramic brakes promise stability and drivability, which has always been the Vette’s trump card over its European supercar rivals. Gearbox wise, there’s a 8 speed tiptronic automatic available, while a seven speed manual is standard.

It looks mad. Bright yellow with black accents and a hood scoop the size of Africa (which houses the 1700 cc Eaton supercharger which revs to over 15,000 RPM), THIS is what proper American engineering and design can deliver.

We’re just wondering what the ZR version of this is going to be like. Time to wipe off the drool and stop gaping.
