Latest Asus notebooks and PDA unleashed

Latest models of ASUS notebooks and an innovative PDA were recently unveiled for the local market, says a press release. These products were launched at press conference jointly organised by Global Brand Pvt. Ltd, the local distributor of the company and Brac Bank.

Seven different models of ASUS laptops and a PDA ASUS P525 were launched at the ceremony. At the press conference ASUS A9T, the cheapest ASUS notebook, which has a price tag of Taka 52,000 and ASUS U5F, a laptop weighing only 1.4 kg were introduced.

One notebook will sure catch any tech lover's eyes, the ASUS S6F. In light of its ultra-modern exterior the notebook comes with the latest Centrino Duo technology. It uses the Intel 945GM chipset and an Intel Centrino Duo L2400 dual-core CPU running at 1.66GHz.

It also comes with 512MB of fast DDR2 memory. All laptops in the S6 range use the same 11.1-inch TFT SXGA screen, which runs at a native resolution of 1,366x768 pixels, and has Asus' glossy Colour-Shine coating.

The PDA, having a 2.0 mega pixel camera, 128 MB internal memory, miniSD memory card support up to 2 GB will cost you Taka 45,000. One can stay Connected all times, e-mail, instant message and use Skype anytime; it also allows business card recognition has easy input and menu navigation.
