Super Shoes
High-tech delight, Powerizers are special shoes that let you jump six feet in the air, take nine-foot strides, and run at over 20 miles per hour all with complete ease. These super shoes are designed to harness all the power of the gravitational pull on your body and convert it into force you can use to jump incredibly high and run unbelievably fast. They use super-charged springs to absorb all the energy you press down with then release it on the recoil.

Rechargeable Insect Vacuum
This new high-tech twist is probably on of mankind's strongest answer to the menace of mosquitoes and other similarly troublesome insects. The Rechargeable Insect Vacuum sucks in the insect you point it at, and instantly kills it inside its chamber with an electric shock.

In comparison to other alternatives, the Rechargeable Insect Vacuum is quite environmentally friendly, and is also very clean and sanitary, leaving no nasty splats to clean up. It also features a special rubber nozzle which allows you to suck up bugs no matter where they are. This is one neat technology that'd be really handy for fighting Dengu.

A blanket that moves
Nicholas Stedman's Blanket is a robotic sculpture in the form of a blanket that crawls around a space, finds people there and crawls over to and on top of them, "like a pet."

The blanket is equipped with a wireless transceiver, a PIC microprocessor, and a camera to detect bodies in that space and beam the data to the blanket which will then scuttle across to detected objects. Each part of the blanket's skeleton is fitted with a pressure sensor enabling it to respond to physical movement from the people it envelops.
