Prof Karim appointed acting VC of IU
Prof Dr Anwarul Karim has been appointed as the acting Vice-Chancellor (VC) of Islamic University.
Prime Minister Khaleda Zia, also the Chancellor of the university, confirmed the appointment in a letter yesterday.
Prof Karim also served as Treasurer at the university.
He has been asked to carry on the duties of VC until a new VC is appointed.
