Memo to VC for punishment to Apr 26 attackers at JU
The "Jahangirnagar against Jamaat-Shibir" (JAJS)," a platform of students against Jamaat-Shibir on the campus, submitted a memorandum to vice chancellor yesterday demanding punishment to the attackers of 26th April that injured 25 five general students including three female students.
Their other demand includes cancellation of the studentships of the identified Islami Chhatra Shibir (ICS) activists.
While discussing the issue with students, VC Khandaker Mustahidur Rahman said he took the issue very seriously as organised attack on female students deserves more attention than others.
He assured the students of taking necessary steps to punish the culprits.
