Press photo contest held

Bangladesh Photojournalists' Association organised the contest, sponsored by Dhaka City Corporation, says a press release.

Photojournalist Shamim Noor of the daily Jugantar and Nasim Shikdar of the Naya Diganta secured second and third positions in the contest respectively.

A total of 46 entries were submitted for the competition.

Director General of PIB Dr Rezwan Siddiqui, Rafiqur Rahman of Reuters, senior photojournalist of the daily Ittefaq Mohammad Alam, News Editor of Baishakhi Television Hasan Hafiz and News Editor of Financial Express Chowdhury Iftekhar were the judges of the contest.
