The arrestee was identified as Mizanur Rahman 28, son of late Mozammel Haque, of village Mahabbatpur under Sadar upazila.

During primary interrogation by Rab, Mizan confessed to his involvement in the August 17 bomb blasts in Dinajpur, police said.

He will be taken to remand today for further quizzing, Rab sources said.

A case has been filed with Dinajpur Police Station against him.

Meanwhile, JMB members Haidar Ali, 28, son of Abdul Hasnat, of village Ghugumari under Rowmari upazila of Kurigram and Jamal Munshi, 26, son of late Nazrul Islam, of village Masua-Khali of Shariatpur were taken to five-day remand yesterday for quizzing.

Police produced them before the court seeking seven-day remand while court granted them five-day remand. Rab-5 arrested them from the Dinajpur court premises on Tuesday.
