Two killed in road accident
Two people were killed and another injured in a road accident on the Dhaka-Aricha highway at Golora in Manikganj Sadar Upazila yesterday.
The accident occurred at around 6:30am when a Faridpur bound pick-up van from Dhaka skidded of the road and hit a roadside tree, killing one passerby named Karim on the spot.
Later, the van helper succumbed to his injuries at the Manikganj Sadar Hospital.
