Trader robbed of Tk 3 lakh in Sylhet city

The victim was identified as Shafiqur Rahman Ana Miah, owner of the Ana Miah & Sons of Kalighat wholesale market in the city.

A gang of 8 armed men on four motorbikes stopped the auto-rickshaw of Ana Miah at Shibganj Bazar at 8:00pm when he was going to his house along with his two other companions. They miscreants chopped him severely and snatched the bag containing the money.

He is now under treatment at a private hospital in the city.
