Ittefaq staff killed in road accident
Ekramul Haque, a staff of the Ittefaq, was killed in a road accident at Chandanaish in Chittagong yesterday.
Police said, Ekramul along with his girl friend, was going to Bandarban by a CNG auto-rickshaw due to transport strike.
The accident took place on Chittagong- Cox's Bazar Road when a speedy truck coming from opposite direction collided with the auto-rickshaw at 7.30am at Gachchbaria in Chandanaish Thana under the district. Ekramul died on the spot.
Police said Ekramul, son of Abdul Aziz under Laksham thana in Comilla district, was the computer operator of the Ittefaq.
