Seminar on Islamic Online Banking Software
Millennium Information Solution Ltd (Millennium) & Bangladesh Bank jointly organised a seminar on "Islamic Online Banking Software (Ababil)" at Bangladesh Bank Training Academy to create awareness about shariah law and its implementation on Islamic Banking Sector, says a press release.
Md Akhtaruzzaman, general manager of Bangladesh Bank Training Academy (BBTA), was present as chief guest in the function. Yusuf Haroon Abedi, general manager, Department of Banking Inspection and Abdus Samad Sarkar, Additional Director (BBTA) were present as special guests.
Md Akhtaruzzaman in his speech urged bankers to make acquainted with the latest tools and technology in the Islamic banking sector. He also gave some comprehensive guidelines on how to inspect shariah implementation in Islamic Banking. He thanked Mahmud Hossain to develop such robust and challenging software for Islamic Banking complying with shariah requirements.
