Listed criminal arrested
Members of Rapid Action Battalion (Rab) arrested a listed criminal at Ayub Ali colony at Charerhat under Khalishpur thana yesterday morning, says a press release.
The arrestee was identified as Morshed Ahmed Moni, 36, son of Sheikh Sultana Ahmed.
An automatic sub-machine carbine (SMC) and a magazine were also recovered from the house of Moni, wanted in several criminal cases, including murders. He was involved in extortion, Rab press release said.
