The President was talking to a 10-member delegation of Bangladesh Sangbadpatra Foundation at Bangabhaban.

Earlier, a five-member delegation of scientist Acharya Prafulla Chandra Roy Memorial Preservation Committee made a courtesy call on the President at the Bangabhaban.

During the meeting, the delegation apprised the President of the Committee's activities. The President assured them of all cooperation.

They invited the President to grace the function to be arranged marking the 144th birth anniversary of Acharya PC Roy.

Appreciating the initiative of preserving the memory of the persons of high intellect, the President said such initiatives would inspire the future generation to show due respect to the geniuses.

The delegation consisted of S. Wasiqur Rahman, Sujit Kumar Das, Alhaj Rafiqul Islam Gazi, Ziaul Haq Ziamoni and Mahfuzur Rahman.
