Iftekhar elected NSU Foundation chairman
Iftekharul Alam, an industrialist, was elected chairman of North South University (NSU) Foundation for 2005-06 at its 13th annual general meeting on Sunday.
Iftekhar, also a founder life member of the NSU Foundation, said that he would work to make best possible efforts to enable NSU to continue as a centre of excellence for higher education.
Benajir Ahmed, former president of Dhaka Chamber of Commerce and Industry, was elected vice chairman of the Foundation.
