The prosecution story, in brief, is that the convict strangled his wife Renu Akter and daughter Amanat Nur on the night of March 4, 2002.

Mohammad Salim, brother-in-law of Renu Akter, filed a case with Rangunia thana in this connection.

After examining 16 prosecution witnesses, the judge handed down the verdict.

Assistant Public Prosecutor Advocate Mohammed Jahangir Chowdhury conducted the case on behalf of the state, while Advocate Nurusafa Talukder defended the accused.
