Lightning kills four in Sherpur

Police said Gazi Mia,25, and Nurul Islam, 16, of Kharkharia village of Nalitabari were killed by lightning at around 10:00am when they were working in the field.

Monir Hossain, 14, son of Fazal Mia of Lava village of Nokla was killed and Shahinur,10, son of Abdus Sattar and Rokan, 9, son of Abdul Hye were injured seriously by lightning at around 9:30am. The injured were admitted to Nokla Upazila Health Complex.

Rubel, 19, of Kalinagar village of Jhinaigati upazila was struck dead by lightning at around 11:00am.
