Army man's house looted in Dinajpur
A gang of robbers looted goods worth approximately Tk 3 lakh from the residence of an army man here in the town early morning yesterday.
According to police and local sources, a gang, comprising around 15 armed members, broke into the of Saydur Rahman of Perbatipur Cantonment, residing at Lalbag in the town and looted Tk 12 thousand in cash, gold ornaments worth Tk 1.30 lakh and some other home appliances at gunpoint.
The gang also assaulted the residents of the house physically leaving Saydur Rahman's brother critically injured.
High officials of Dinajpur police visited the place. A case was filed yesterday in this regard.
