20pc increase in Ctg truck fare from today

An agreement in this regard was signed here yesterday at a tripartite meeting of Chittagong Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CCCI), Chittagong Customs Clearing and Forwarding Agents Association and Chittagong Bandar Truck Owners and Contractors Association at CCCI auditorium.

CCCI President Saifuzzaman Chowdhury Jabhed presided over the meeting.

As per the agreement, the trucks, transporting goods locally, will carry six tons of goods, instead of the previous five tons, in each trip with the increased fare.

CCCI Vice-President MA Latif, C&F Association President AKM Akter Hossain, former vice-president Syedul Mostafa Chowdhury (Raju), truck association President Nurul Amin and Executive President Md Israil Hossain signed the agreement on behalf of the respective sides.
