Iranian cultural team in city

Jame'I was received at the Zia International Airport (ZIA) by State Minister for Cultural Affairs Begum Selima Rahman, an official handout said.

The delegations of Iran and Bangladesh will meet today at the Cultural Affairs Ministry to discuss ways of boosting bilateral ties between the two countries.

During its stay in Dhaka, the delegation will visit historical sites of Bangladesh, including Lalbagh Kella, Ahsan Manzil, Sonargaon Arts and Crafts Foundation and National Museum.

Jame'I will also inaugurate 'Iran Corner' at the National Museum of Bangladesh.

Other members of the delegation are Director General of Cultural Cooperation Organisation of Iran, Ali Reza Ismali and editor of monthly History and Geography, Abdur Rasul Kheir Andish.
