12 shops gutted in Rajshahi

Valuables inside the shops and a motorcycle were burnt to ashes within an hour until fire fighters from Rajshahi had brought the situation under control.

According to the traders, the fire might have originated from a cigarette and the losses may exceed Tk 50 lakh.
