1140 more held, 9 firearms seized
Police arrested 1,140 people, including three listed criminals, on various charges during their countrywide drive in the last 24 hours as of 6:00am yesterday.
During the period, the law enforcers also recovered nine firearms, three other weapons, 10 bullets, two bombs and an explosive, says a police headquarters press release.
