Three children rescued from Bhomra while being trafficked to India

The victims were identified as Shariful Islam, 11, son of Salam Sheikh, Farooq Sheikh, 12, son of Kamal Sheikh, and Farooq Hossain, 12, son of Kamal Sheikh of Chandi Mahal under Khan Jahan Ali upazila in Khulna district.

Police said local people, on suspicion, caught and handed them over to two NGOs Swadesh and Barsa who are working on child trafficking.

When asked, the victims said some unknown people brought them here from Khulna in the name of visiting Satkhira.

The Swadesh is expected to hand over them to their parents today.
