1,615 more held, 7 firearms seized
Police arrested 1,615 people on various charges during their countrywide drive in the last 24 hours as of 6:00am yesterday.
During the period, the law enforcers also recovered seven firearms, one other weapon, 13 bullets and five explosives, says a police headquarters press release.
