Condolence meet on Aurora May 23
Mujibnagar and Freedom Fighter Officers-Employees Central Welfare Association of Bangladesh will hold a condolence meeting at Vashkar Novera hall at National Museum in the city at 4:00pm on May 23 to pay homage to the memory of Lt. General Jagjit Singh Aurora, commander of the Bangladesh-India Joint Forces in 1971, says a press release.
Eminent lawyer Dr Kamal Hossain will be present at the meeting as chief guest while General (Retd) KM Shafiullah and Indian Deputy High Commissioner S Chakrabarty will attend as special guests.
