'Bring reforms to caretaker govt system'
They said the black money holders and evil people are now controlling the state power and they don't want any reforms in the election system.
They also said that there is no accountability and transparency in the political parties.
The Sushasoner Jonno Nagorik (Sujon) organised the discussion on the current political issues at the district council auditorium in Kushtia town.
Dr Badiul Alam Majumder, member secretary of Sujon, Dr Lokman Hossain, Lutfar Rahman, MA Latif of Islamic University (IU) and Amanur Aman, a Ph.D. research fellow at IU, took part in the discussion.
Shamim Ahmed, former president of the district chamber of commerce and industry, presided over the discussion.
Later, a 19-member district committee was formed, with Shamim Ahmed as its convenor.
