Bomb hurled at Chuadanga sadar thana

The bomb exploded in front of the police station at about 9:00pm with a big bang, police said.

"A gang allegedly belonging to underground party hurled the bomb to create panic," Nazrul Islam, officer-in-Charge (OC) of sadar police, told this correspondent over phone.

No causality or damage to police station was reported.

The panic-stricken shop owners fled the area immediately after the explosion.
