Underground operatives threaten to bomb on 5 police station
Underground operatives have allegedly threatened to launch bomb attack on five police stations of the district if the law enforcers continue to arrest and torture their colleagues.
The threat against the five police stations--Kamarkhand, Belkuchi, Ullapara, Tarash and Raiganj--came from outlawed Sarbahara Party four days ago.
Additional police equipped with heavy weapons have been deployed in the police stations following the threat.
Police admitted receiving the threat, but declined to say anything about how such threat has been conveyed to them.
Outlaws are apparently angry as five of their operatives were killed after the murder of a JCD leader in Kamarkand upazila in May last year.
